Today marks a significant milestone in our journey to make architectural visualization accessible to everyone, everywhere. With Foshati 2.0, we're introducing comprehensive multi-language support, including full RTL (Right-to-Left) language compatibility.
Why This Matters
Architecture and design are universal languages, but the tools we use shouldn't create barriers. By supporting languages like Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, and Urdu with proper RTL rendering, we're ensuring that designers from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia can work in their native languages without compromise.
What's New
- Full RTL Layout Support: Every interface element, from navigation to forms, adapts seamlessly to RTL languages
- Localized Content: All UI text, error messages, and tooltips are professionally translated
- Smart Text Direction: The system automatically detects and applies the correct text direction
- Cultural Considerations: Date formats, number systems, and design patterns respect local conventions
Technical Implementation
We built our i18n system from the ground up using React Context and custom hooks. The system dynamically loads language files, manages text direction, and persists user preferences across sessions. Our CSS architecture uses logical properties and flexbox to ensure layouts work perfectly in both LTR and RTL modes.
Looking Forward
This is just the beginning. We're committed to adding more languages and improving localization quality based on community feedback. If you'd like to help translate Foshati into your language, reach out to our team.
